How to build ZetScript

To build ZetScript you need installed cmake tool.


MinGW or Linux

To configure project for MinGW or linux you need to have installed a gnu compiler toolchain 4.8 or above.

Once you have installed the build tools, uncompress the source code and do the following in the terminal console,

cmake CMakeLists.txt
Once the configuration files are setup you can build ZetScript using gnu build tools from the terminal console,

make
Visual C++

To configure project for Visual C++ you need to have installed Visual C++ build tools standalone compile v141 or above. Once Visual C++ build v141 are installed the build files are located at,

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 14.0\VC
We have to setup visual enverionment vars with the following instruction,

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 14.0\VC\vcvarsall.bat" x86
Then configure ZetScript project using cmake with the following instruction,

cmake CMakeLists.txt -G "Visual Studio 14 2015"
Once the configuration files are setup you can build ZetScript using Visual C++ build tools from the terminal console,

msbuild zetscript.vcxproj /property:Configuration=Release
